Agencie on Aging

For elderly people residing in Georgia, GAAAA is there to help you maintain independence and a high standard of living. The agency can direct you to a wide variety of services and financial aid opportunities. Offices are located all around the state.

The Association of Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) in Georgia is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the well-being and independence of older adults in the state. It serves as a collective voice for the 12 regional Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) throughout Georgia.

The AAA works collaboratively with community partners, government agencies, and service providers to ensure that older adults have access to a comprehensive range of programs and services. These may include healthcare assistance, nutrition programs, transportation services, caregiver support, and information/referral services.

Through advocacy efforts, the Association of Area Agencies on Aging aims to influence policy decisions and secure funding for programs that address the unique needs of older Georgians. The AAA also provides training and technical assistance to help enhance the capacity and effectiveness of local AAAs in delivering services to their communities.

By fostering partnerships and coordinating resources, the Association of Area Agencies on Aging in Georgia strives to improve the quality of life for older adults, promote healthy aging, and empower individuals to age with dignity and independence.
